The story of a good decision
Back in 1979, I signed my first employment contract. Being an economist, my first professional achievements were related to numbers. But thanks to my postgraduate studies and my new professional experiences, I started to discover other fields of activity within a company along the way: manufacturing, logistics, HR, R&D and IT. It was all fascinating to me and I tried to understand the way all the different areas worked in order to improve a company’s performance.
I soon had the chance to gain a deep understanding about how Marketing works within a major international corporation – in this case belonging to the beer sector – . The Marketing activities had a prime role in this company and their senior managers were top level professionals.
Encouraged by this experience and still having global responsibilities in the company, I decided to increase my involvement in Marketing and Communication. I came to the conclusion that this was where I could add most value. We all know that in order for a company to succeed it must develop good ideas that take the form of good products or services. It is essential to develop them in an efficient way, distribute them intelligently and all of it must be made by the right human capital. You need to make it right.
But, sometimes, it just so happens that those right products or services don’t succeed because they fail to reach the people or the markets to which they were conceived for. This step to reach the right people and markets is what we’ve been doing at MC Dilo since we founded the company 17 years ago. We help our clients to promote who they are, how they work and which products or services they offer. Our compromise is that they are known by their target public: institutions, financial entities, investors, final consumers… by positioning them in the market with the reputation they deserve.
Dilo is the Spanish word for you Say it, and that’s our inspiration:
